What's going to be built at 6543-6549 Montgomery Road?

With demolition now complete on Montgomery Road, the Kennedy Heights Development Corporation is actively receiving proposals for the future of the site. As part of this process, two upcoming meetings have been scheduled to ensure residents have the opportunity to hear directly from a development team and stay informed before any decisions are made.

The first opportunity will take place during the Kennedy Heights Community Council meeting on April 24, 2026 at 7:30 pm, where Bethany House and Urban Sites will provide a brief overview of their proposed family-oriented development.

A second, more in-depth discussion will be held at a Special Neighborhood-Wide Meeting on Tuesday, May 5 at 7:30 pm. This meeting will offer a deeper look at the proposal, along with time for residents to ask questions and engage in conversation.

Both meetings will be held at the Kennedy Heights Arts Center Annex, located at 6620 Montgomery Road on the corner of Montgomery and Kennedy.

All residents are encouraged to attend, learn more about the proposal, and stay involved as plans for the site continue to take shape.
