Healthy Lawns, Healthy Streams
Have you ever wondered whether fertilizing your lawn is actually helping or if it might be doing more harm than good?
This spring, the Kennedy Heights Parks Committee is hosting Healthy Lawns, Healthy Streams,, a one-hour educational program presented by the Hamilton County Conservation District and the Kennedy Heights Community Council. The session will explore practical, low-impact alternatives to traditional lawn care and help homeowners better understand how everyday lawn decisions can affect our local streams and environment.

Each month we will focus on a unique quality of nature while also discussing any plants, insects, animals, and everything else we come across. Registration is recommended.

Join neighbors and Friends of Kennedy Heights Park for our annual Kennedy Heights Green
Up Day. Drinks and light snacks will be available for volunteers. Bring your favorite weeding tools and gloves. Dress for the weather- rain or shine.

Pleasant Ridge Library Book Club

The Pleasant Ridge Branch Book Club meets monthly for lively discussions of both new and classic books. This recurring event takes place on the second Thursday of each month. Interested in learning how to repair your own clothing? Don’t miss Visible Mending, lead by an experienced instructor from the Clifton Cultural Arts Center.
