Prepare Affair: Help Your Neighbors Get Ready For Winter

Every fall, thousands of volunteers across the tri-state area come together for Prepare Affair — one of the region's largest annual volunteer events, organized by People Working Cooperatively (PWC). This November, join your Kennedy Heights neighbors to rake leaves and clean gutters for seniors and homeowners living with disabilities who can't safely do it themselves.

No experience needed. Prepare Affair is open to all ages and skill levels — just show up and make a real difference for a neighbor in need.

Main event day: Saturday, November 21st Can't make it? You and your crew can pick any day in November to volunteer on your own schedule.

Registration opens in summer 2026. You can sign up individually, join an existing crew, or put together your own group with a designated crew leader.
