Cathy and Connie have won once before, but this year the win was special. After 33 years of being together, they decided to get married, and their garden would be the place for the ceremony. Connie took special care to make it particularly attractive with plenty of color from long-blooming perennials and flowering shrubs. Window boxes at the front of the house and hanging baskets along the inside of the fence furthered the festive look. Though the wedding has taken place, the landscaping is still eye-catching.

A tip from Connie for keeping things looking good is don’t be afraid to replace annuals that are looking past their prime, especially those in containers and window boxes.
